Ruth’s Nest is a local nonprofit in central and southwest Virginia dedicated to helping individuals experiencing housing crises access real pathways to stability. We offer immediate support — from food and mental-health services to housing navigation and employment preparation. But our mission goes further: we’re building a unified network of local nonprofits so resources are coordinated instead of fragmented. Ruth’s Nest is where people find connection, opportunity, and a community working together to end the unhoused crisis.
